What is the 2-Cup Manifestation Method? This is a visualization technique that can inspire people into action toward a more desirable and aligned life. Two empty cups, water, and clear intentions are the only thing needed for this exercise. The first cup (spiral) holds the energy of the person’s current life. Notes and descriptors are written on the first cup and a small amount of water is poured into it. Next, the person connects with the energy of their current situation. Once they have it, the focus shifts to the second cup (cicada), the desired destination. The person writes their desires on the future cup and pours the water from the first into the second. This symbolizes the journey from one to the other. After that, the person holds the new energy in cup 2 until it feels integrated. They drink the water and embody it fully.
Please note that this is a symbolic action meant to empower people to take responsibility for the life they want to live. This activity can also be done with any two cups. However, using tools made with intention and infused with supportive Reiki energy will amplify the action greatly.
Spiral symbolism- In this set, the spiral represents non-linear time. Often, when we believe we are stuck, we “spiral” out of control, with no end in sight. It is important to remember that spirals themselves aren’t stagnant, and spirling energy still moves in a particular direction. As a symbol for the Current Timeline, we remember Spiral’s lesson: we are constantly moving and growing, even when it doesn’t seem that way. There is always wisdom gained from returning
Cicada symbolism- Cicadas are known for their deeply transformative powers. They are masters of the rest and utilize the energetic discernment needed to complete their many stages of transformation. This symbol for the Desired Timeline embodies the final result of the hard work you put into your manifestations. Its existence encourages us to see it through to the end and stretch out our new wings triumphantly.
8-pointed star symbolism- To me, the 8-pointed star is a seed that embodies the merging of all things to create reality. It can represent endless potential to shift and evolve. Find this symbol hand-carved on the back “pouch” of each cup as a reminder to keep growing.
